Good location
The bed was comfortable. Good location. Water pressure in shower was good, not often in old buildings.
You have to go out across the balcony to get to the bedroom, it is a separate room outside. Living room cannot be locked form inside. So one person had to sleep being locked in, not too safe in case of fire etc. House is very noisy, you hear everything from you neighbours.

Great location.
Great location. Equipped kitchen. Very comfortable matress.
It's not ver practical to have to wake up at 4 am to go to the bathroom and have to go into the cold and to the other part of the appartment to go to the toilette... Kitchen, living room snd bathroom are on one side, then you literally exit the appartement and on the other side of the staircase you have the sleeping room. Another minus: the sofa in the living room is not comfortable at all!! (Maybe broken?)

Rustic living in an amazing location!!!
The location is amazing! You're right in the middle of town, close to everything. Across from a bakery for fresh croissants in the morning. Couldn't ask for more. Free wifi was great, and it was really nice to have some basics in the kitchen like pepper, salt, coffee, tea. Kitchen had most of the other basics as well. Super cute apartment, rustic style.
We thought having the beds accessible through the outside would be ok, but it was quite a hassle. The living area and bathroom are on one side, the beds on the other. We tried using the sofa bed for one person in our party, but this was uncomfortable and blocked access to the bathroom. Rest of the apartment was super cute, just older and need bit of maintenance. (taps, doors) Also, no privacy between bunk beds and double bed. Would be fine for family with small kids maybe.

Strasbourg is a beautiful, historical city, and we loved our 2 day stay! If you haven't been, go!
Our host met us as per our arrangement, and he was very nice (funny, too!). The apartment is in 2 parts ... with an outdoor hallway between. Potential renters should be aware of this upfront, but it didn't bother us at all. I loved staying in an old half-timber house in the heart of Strasbourg!
As this apartment is in the midst of a very active pedestrian street, you can expect all sorts to be walking around as you come and go. In particular there were a few shifty looking characters hanging around that I didn't feel comfortable with. This is no reflection whatsoever on the host of this apartment, or of Strasbourg in general. Just something to be aware of.
